When I was eight years old, there was an unforgettable experience in my life. I took a trip to the south of Taiwan in the summer. On one day of my trip, we went to a stream to relax. The sun was very sunning, so we played together in the stream. We had a wonderful time in the stream. However, I was so happy that I kicked a stone. Than I fell into the water.

      I was afraid that I would drown. The water was so rapid that is pushed me downwards. I jumped out to the water and said”help” to the people on the bank., and then I was sinking immediately. When I thought I was almost drowned, I felt a person just was holding my hand and took me upwards. At the end I was saved and very thankful to the person who saved my life. Though the experience was horrified to me, I learned a great lesson. If anyone needs any help, I will try my best to help him or her just like the person who helped me.

Nei-hu, is my favorite place in Taipei city and it is also where I was born. I have been living in Nei-hu for eighteen years. There are many beautiful sights in here. For example, there are many mountains surrounding Nei-hu. The sight I like most is Da-hu Park.
I like Da-hu Park because I like the arch bridge in the park. When I was a child my parent often took me to the park. We always went swimming and fishing. Every time I went there I like to stand on the bridge and see the beautiful scenery around the park. When I was standing on the bridge I felt very comfortable and happy. Da-hu Park is the place I think the most beautiful in Nei-hu. Any visitors who come to the Nei-hu will be attracted with the mountains. Da-hu park is the most beautiful place I like in Nei-hu.

The man on the left side is an exchange student came from Singapore. He went to our class and studied with us for about one month. We had a very wonderful time at that time. We took him to many places and taught him many things. But he was going to leave Taiwan and went back to Singapore. So we hold a goodbye party for him. We bought a football to him for his leaving present. And the other one is me. I was the class leader so I sent the present to him. I hope he will remember us when he is playing soccer at Singapore.

     In the English class last week, the teacher was teaching the lesson ” we are the world.” Because of his boring lesson. I fell asleep in class. While I was sleeping, I had an interesting dream. In the dream, I became my English teacher and I taught grammar to my students. A few minutes later, I saw one student falling asleep in my class. At first, I thought he was just tired, so I left him alone. But after twenty minutes, he didn’t wake up. What was worse, everyone in my class was sleeping!

     Filled with anger, I decided to wake them up. Then I hit on one of the student’s desk heavily to wake her up. When I hit on her desk, I also heard the same voice so I suddenly woke up. Everybody was laughing at me because I talked so loudly while I was sleeping. Oh my god! I felt so embarrassed. I promise I will not fall asleep in English class anymore.

     John got a wonderful birthday present last month, it was a puppy! He was so happy that he could play with the puppy all day. A few days later the weather was so nice so his mother wanted him to take a walk with the puppy. John said no problem and took the puppy out to the park quickly. At first, the puppy ran so fast that John could not follow it. But later, the puppy was tired so it walked slowly and slowly. After a while, John felt strange because there was no sound behind his back. He turned around quickly and the puppy was missing!

      John was sad because he loved the puppy so much. But it just ran away from him. John walked all over the park to look for the puppy. Time flied quickly. It was time he had to go home. So he gave up and walked home sorrowfully. When he went back home, he heard a similar voice in front of the door. It was the puppy! John was so happy that he could see the puppy again. He promised that he would never lose the puppy anymore.

   One day, Mery was playing ball in the park. Suddenly, there was a cat running to her. The cat was so cute that Mery played ball with it happily. Unfortunately, it was time to go home, so Mery decided to take that cat back home. On her way home, there were more cats following her, so she wanted to take them back home too.

     mery ran to  her mother as soon as she got home. Then she asked her mother to let these cats stay in the house. her mother finally granted her request and let Mery have these cats. At first, Mery was so happy to have these cats and took good  care of them every day. A few weeks later, she became so lazy that she let the cat run wildil around the house. As the result, the house was in a mess. After that, Mery drive them out the park where she found them. For the time being, she decides not to take any animals back to her house.

     I have a lot of friends in my life, but there is only one person that I think can really called “My Best Friend. ” When I was in the 7th grade, he transferred from another school to my school. His name is Xin hao Hsieh. He went to our school because his parents divorced and he moved to live with his grandmother. He has a special head because he has three eddies on his head so his hair looks very funny.

    He is a very kind person. When we are unhappy and had some problems, he always help us to slove the problem. He always smiles to other people and he works hard on the schoolwork. I forgot how we became good friends, maybe because our family name is the same. The most impressive is that every time he had trouble, he always said, “That’s OK, I will do better next time. ” He doesn’t only talk, he always worked hard to overcome the problem. His attitude is what I want to learn from him. Now he lives alone and works in the convenience store almost every day. He is leading a diffcult life, but I think he will overcome the hardship and I will be his best friend forever.

     One day, Lara was cooking dinner at her apartment. She was looking forward to wait for her boyfriend John to come because she wanted to give him a big superise. later, she heard some noise in her house. At first she thought it was her dog, but when sheturned around, the dog was sitting on the floor quietly. So she determined to find out where the noise come from. As soon as she strated to walk, a gorilla ran to the kitchen suddenly.

     Lara was so scared that she dropped her dinner to the floor. Then she started to shout. She stopped shouting when she heard the voice of the gorilla. she was confused why a gorilla could talk. The gorilla taked off his head and said “Superise”. Lara was  shuked because the gorilla was her boyfriend John. Then John gave a bunch of flowers to lara and said “Happy Birthday”. Lara was very happy for what her boyfriend’s did, so they have been more attached to each other.
